Inaugural Volunteer Fair deemed success - Event draws about 30 nonprofits

January 21, 2014

Many members of the Starkville community showed their desire to get involved and learn about service organizations and programs by attending Volunteer Starkville’s first Community Volunteer Fair honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Monday at the Starkville Sportsplex.

Area nonprofits and charitable/service organizations were well-represented, with roughly 30 participating with displays and information.
