Members and friends of the Oktibbeha County National Association for the Advancement of Colored People came together early Monday afternoon for a special march and rally in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
More than 100 people were on hand for the march, which began at the north end of Douglas L. Connor Drive and followed Jefferson, Lafayette and Main streets. The march ended at the Oktibbeha County Courthouse Annex, where the Oktibbeha County NAACP hosted the rally.
