Choctaw County hosts Challenge

January 25, 2014

Fans that want to see high school girls basketball at its finest may want to take the short trip to Ackerman at some point today.
Good players, good rivalries and good competition will all be a part of the Mid-Mississippi Challenge at Choctaw County High School.
Dandy Dozen performers and Mississippi State signees Victoria Vivians of Scott Central and Blair Schaefer of Starkville are two of the players who will showcase their talents on the court.
Choctaw County basketball coach Gary Beals looks forward to putting on the event once again.
"This is our seventh year to do it and we've had some good players," Beals said. "It's a good thing for girls basketball. There's a lot of emphasis put on boys, but that's why I did it.
