OXFORD – The Mississippi State Bulldogs have proven they can win inside Humphrey Coliseum.
MSU has struggled away from Starkville all season long and that trend continued on Saturday.
The Bulldogs dropped an 82-63 decision to in-state rival Ole Miss at Tad Smith Coliseum.
“We’ve got to find a way to compete on the road,” MSU head coach Rick Ray said. “Every time we go play somebody any good on the road, it’s not even a ballgame. I can’t put my thumb on it.”
The Bulldogs are 0-4 in true road games this season. Three of those losses have come in Southeastern Conference play.
