Community helps family after fire

Fire may spread fast, but so has the call for help for two Starkville teachers and their children.

Starkville High School art teacher Andrew Lark, his wife and Armstrong Middle School history teacher Jeanine Lark, and their family lost their home and four cars to fire Saturday night. But the same day, Starkville School District had posts up on Twitter asking for cash, gift cards and other donations for the family. As of Tuesday, SHS Principal Keith Fennell said Starkville High School alone had raised more than $6,435.
