Cyberbullying carries high price - State, local agencies seek to curb increasing trend

Social media’s rapid growth has created new avenues of abuse for bullies online, and officials at home and across the state are fighting to deal with the issue.

Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood recently released a statement that said his office is seeking ways to curb a rising trend of students posting inappropriate content on the social networking service Instagram.
