Starkville Police Department announced on Thursday the discovery of a burglary ring it believed to be connected with a number of area burglaries.

Police arrested 19-year-old Tymario Q. Joiner and 22-year-old Deven Jones, both of Batesville, and 22-year old Cartlon Bernard Raynor of Starkville, on suspicion of residential burglary.

An SPD release said the department, along with the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department, has been investigating an alleged rash of auto and residential burglaries throughout the city and county during recent months.

The three suspects were each arrested on suspicion of two counts of burglary.

The suspects appeared in Starkville Municipal Court Thursday afternoon, where their bond was set at $20,000 each.

The SPD release said the investigation into the case is ongoing, and more charges are expected.
