Outlaw bids SPD adieu ... again

It was possibly the longest 15 days of John Outlaw’s life, in that it lasted 2.5 months.

Outlaw has served as acting city police chief since late November. But on Wednesday, the 34-year Starkville Police Department veteran returned to retirement — a lifestyle to which he had grown accustomed.
