Mississippi State and Kentucky have played some epic games inside Humphrey Coliseum over the last few years.
In February of 2012, there were 10,213 fans that saw the Bulldogs lose a thrilling 73-64 decision to No. 1 Kentucky in Starkville. MSU held a 13-point halftime lead, but couldn't hold onto it.
State forced overtime in 2010, but in the end, Kentucky came away with an 81-75 win. The Bulldogs led 67-60 with just 3 minutes remaining in the ballgame, but the Wildcats closed out regulation on a 7-0 run to force the extra period.
Later that season, MSU lost another overtime game to UK in the Southeastern Conference Tournament championship game.
This time MSU is looking for a win to snap a season-long four-game losing streak. The Bulldogs (13-9, 3-6) and No. 18 Wildcats (17-5, 7-2) prepare to meet today in the Humphrey Coliseum. Tipoff is scheduled for 12:47 p.m. and can be seen on SEC TV.
