Mississippi State true freshman point guard I.J. Ready has really been hampered by injuries and illness this season.
He missed his seventh game of the season on Saturday due to flu-like symptoms and a fever.
MSU head coach Rick Ray was adamant that it wasn't the flu and his suspicions were right.
"I know he's had some tests and they've come back as being negative for having the flu," Ray said on Monday's Southeastern Conference. "That's positive news, but we still have to see where he is with his temperature."
