For most gift retailers, the holidays mean business. To some in town, Valentine’s Day is the biggest day of the year — seeing massive increases in traffic, production and activity.

Monti King from Flowers by the Bunch, said she and her employees have been preparing as much as possible for what has always proved to be the most chaotic, productive, exciting and generally insane day of the year. Misty Nall, owner of Bloom Flowers and Boutique, said the increase in orders for Valentine’s Day is so great that there is almost no way to fully prepare for it.
