Lady Vols reach tourney finals

PELAHATCHIE – The Starkville Academy Lady Volunteers entered the fourth quarter of their game against East Rankin Academy all tied up.
Starkville Academy broke the 27-27 score by outscoring East Rankin Academy 13-8 in the fourth quarter on its own floor and earned a 40-35 victory.
With the win, the Lady Vols advanced to the championship game of the Class AAA-Division II Tournament. They take on Hillcrest Christian School at 3:15 p.m.
