Jonathan Holder has been the kind of shut down closer a ball club likes to have.
On Wednesday night, Memphis got to him.
The Mississippi State junior right hander gave up three runs, two earned, in the top of the ninth inning as the Tigers went on to beat the No. 2 Bulldogs 6-4 at Dudy Noble Field.
It is the fourth time in his Bulldog career that Holder (0-1) has given up three runs in a relief appearance. It is also his second-career loss.
