A good afternoon: Bulldogs get a 13-1 result in home game

February 26, 2014

Coach John Cohen's Mississippi State Bulldogs needed a game like Tuesday night.
The No. 18 Bulldogs entered the week with a 4-4 record, but they sure didn't play like a squad that had such a mark.
MSU pounded out a season-high 13 hits in a 13-1 victory over Mount St. Mary's at Dudy Noble Field.
"Some things went our way," Cohen said. "Our kids needed a night like (Tuesday) to feel good and feel like things can go our way."
