Eupora, East Webster girls look to advance further

February 27, 2014

Katie McDonald says her Eupora squad is not “ready to turn their jerseys in.”
The Lady Eagles will seek to extend the season tonight as they tip off against the Lady Royals of New Site as part of the Class 2A North Tournament hosted by Coahoma County.
Eupora advanced forward to tonight’s game after defeating J.Z. George Monday night in the first of these play in games.
“We traveled to J.Z. George and it was a great win for us,” McDonald said. “My girls could have rolled over and played dead, but they didn’t. They fought hard and hit some big free throws there at the end.”
