The Mississippi State women's basketball team hopes the next game in the state of Georgia is much better than the last one.
After losing a 77-48 decision to the Georgia Bulldogs last Sunday, MSU opens the Southeastern Conference Tournament in Duluth, Ga., today against Missouri. The tip is set for 5 p.m. at The Arena at the Gwinnett Center.
State experienced three-straight overtime outings before the poor showing at Georgia.
Despite not playing well in Athens, Ga., MSU head coach Vic Schaefer looks forward to seeing how his squad will respond to the challenge.
