March 12, 2014

Volunteer Starkville’s Touch-a-Truck fundraiser on April 5 will include more than 30 attractions for kids to look at, climb through and learn about. Last year’s inaugural event included 19 attractions. (Submitted photo)

Volunteer Starkville has almost doubled the amount of trucks that will be on display for its second Touch-a-Truck event on April 5.

Touch-a-Truck is an educational event for children that give them an opportunity to learn about vehicles used in the city and county. The second Touch-a-Truck event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 5 at the Starkville Sportsplex. To participate, a $5 wristband must be purchased for children. This wristband will grant them access to all the trucks on display at Touch-a-Truck.
