Mississippi State softball coach Vann Stuedeman knows one thing for sure during the second Southeastern Conference series of the season.
"I expect nothing less than some good ole dog fights," Stuedeman said.
That's because it will be bulldog against bulldog as MSU competes against Georgia in Athens.
Today's first game starts at 5 p.m., while Saturday's action takes place at 1 p.m. and Sunday's outing, which will be televised on the Fox Sports Networks, begins at noon.
After dropping two out of three games to Kentucky at home during the first weekend of league play, Stuedeman and her Bulldogs are looking forward to the next opportunity.
"It's such a great league and anybody can win on any given day," Stuedeman said. "You've got to bring it every day. I'm proud of our girls (against Kentucky). We have a good team and fight hard. We're going to keep on grinding it out."
