Comfortable Carter: Coach enjoys good 12th season at SHS

Going into this past basketball season, not many people thought the Starkville High School boys basketball team would be one of the contenders for a state championship.
Flash forward a few months to the end of the season and the Yellowjackets were right there in the thick of things.
Even though there was no trip to Jackson and the Mississippi Coliseum (a.k.a. Big House) when the season ended, none of that matters when it comes to the pride Starkville Daily News’ Coach of the Year Greg Carter has in his team.
