Virginia C. White, 88, formerlyÂ of Starkville,Â passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 in Stockbridge, GA where she was residing.
A native of Moundville, AL, Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Andrew Rufus Coley and Lottis Jane Bibby Coley and was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph A White.Â She was a volunteer at Athens Regional Medical Center and a longtimeÂ member of First Presbyterian Church of Athens and First Presbyterian Church of Starkville before relocating to Athens, GA.
Survivors include sons, Larry R.Â White and wife, Louise,Â of Johnson City, TN and Robert C. White and wife, Laura of McDonough, GA; grandchildren, James C. White (Sissy), Amanda White Charlton (John) and Robert A.Â White,;Â and great-grandchildren, Isaac Charlton, Ansley Charlton, Emma Charlton, Campbell White, Durham White, and Garrett White.
Funeral services were held at 2:30PM Thursday, March 13th at First Presbyterian Church of Athens with Dr. Glenn Doak officiating.Â Intombment followed at Evergreen Memorial Park.Â The family received friends prior to the service inÂ the AtriumÂ at the church.Â
