The partnership between the East Mississippi Community College rodeo program and the city of West Point has been a good thing over the last couple of years.
With assistance provided by Luke Lummus Rodeo Productions, the Lions will be hosting the fourth event of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association's 2014 Ozark Region spring schedule.
EMCC rodeo coach Morgan Goodrich is happy to be able to bring the action back to the Golden Triangle area once again.
"Luke Lummus has been very important for us and we've had plenty of support from the community of West Point, Starkville and Columbus," Goodrich said. "We have a lot of support from the Golden Triangle, especially with our campus in Mayhew being up there. We have support from everywhere really from Meridian, the Golden Triangle, with our staff and teachers from our campus."
