Dak Prescott and Brian Johnson both had to get used to new situations and roles coming into spring practice.
The Mississippi State quarterback and quarterbacks coach respectively, will be working together for the first time.
Prescott, a junior, has been a part of the Bulldog football program for the past three seasons, including a redshirt year.
Johnson was hired in February to lead the Bulldog quarterbacks, and it didn't take him long to realize he had a good one in Prescott.
"He's a natural leader and guys are kind of naturally drawn to him," Johnson said. "It's been fantastic to work with him in that regard. I'm just looking forward to getting a chance to continue to develop him from a skill standpoint."
