Mississippi State had many question marks about the secondary coming into last season.
There were going to be many new faces, especially at cornerback.
After roughing it out last season, the cornerback position returns with a good bit of experience.
Junior Taveze Calhoun finished off the season hot, as he has several interceptions down the stretch.
Calhoun and his fellow cornerbacks are trying to build on last year's momentum during the spring.
"We're coming out here just trying to get better every day, trying to perfect our technique and trying to compete," he said. "We are trying to get better than we were last year."
There is a good bit of competition going on with junior Will Redmond, sophomore Cedric Jiles and senior Jamerson Love, along with Calhoun.Â
