Local volunteers write letters to overseas soldiers

Volunteer Starkville celebrated National Volunteer Week by holding two “Write a Letter” campaigns to collect hand-written letters to be included in care packages sent to soldiers deployed overseas.

Volunteer Starkville hosted the events from 10 a.m. - noon at the drill field on the MSU campus and from 2-6 p.m. at the 929 Coffee Bar on Wednesday.
