LETTER TO THE EDITOR: National Day of Prayer coming up on May 1

April 11, 2014

From Gwen Sisson
Starkville Committee, National Day of Prayer

Editor:

Taking time as a community to come together to pray for one another is the basis for the Starkville observance of the National Day of Prayer.

The Starkville observance of the National Day of Prayer will be at noon May 1 at the Starkville Sportsplex. The public is invited to attend for this special time of prayer. Prayer for the eight core areas of national, state and local government, education, churches, families, media, military, healthcare and business will be an important part of the event.
