April 18, 2014

Mississippi State will have to await its postseason fate after being bounced from the Southeastern Conference Championship earlier than expected.
The No. 17 Bulldogs (18-10) lost to No. 55 LSU 4-2 in Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday.
MSU now has to wait until the NCAA announces the bracket for the 2014 tournament, which will come April 29. Regional play will start on May 9.
