Wolverines use productive sixth to beat Trojans

April 21, 2014

Hancock

MABEN – A productive sixth inning filled with five runs propelled the East Webster Wolverines to an 8-2 victory over the visiting Bruce Trojans.
“This game was a lot like our year,” East Webster coach Wes Johnson said. “We kind of press early and get off to a slow start. We have done that in several games, but they just kind of hang around, hang around, then in the fourth, fifth, sixth innings, we score some runs and get good enough pitching. We have been able to win them all.”
