Games cancelled due to weather conditions are all but a thing of the past for Starkville High.
When the football, soccer, and track teams as well as the band take to its respective fields and oval, it will be on a brand new surface and it is one that makes athletic director Dr. Stan Miller extremely proud.
“This is an exciting moment for athletics as a whole,” Miller said. “What this facility brings to us for the first time in many, many years is the opportunity to be flexible. We can host events. We don’t have to cancel events. I can’t say enough for Shaw, which worked so closely with us on this project to get us where we are today.”
