Mississippi State hit a lull two weeks ago after it lost its second-straight Southeastern Conference series.
The Bulldogs lost a home series to Ole Miss a weekend after being swept by LSU on the road.
Since the loss to the in-state rival Rebels, the Bulldogs have turned things around. No. 20 MSU (27-15, 10-8) takes a five-game winning streak into a home clash against Texas A&M (25-17, 8-10) starting today.
“They’re very fundamentally sound, (and) they have really good arms,” State head coach John Cohen said. “In some ways, they’re similar to our club because they pitch and they play defense, and they’re very capable offensively. They are a pitch or two away from three or four more wins in league play.”
