Voter registration deadline nearing

Oktibbeha County residents have wish to vote in Mississippi’s upcoming June 3 United States Congress primary election have until noon Saturday to register if they have not already done so.

Elections Deputy Clerk Cheryl Elmore said the Oktibbeha County Courthouse Annex at 108 West Main Street will remain open from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday so she can accept registrations to vote in the primary election. She said residents can also register throughout the week at the circuit clerk’s office in the courthouse during normal business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
