Eupora looks to build upon current level

April 30, 2014

EUPORA – All you can ask for in a program is that it continues to improve.
Eupora’s baseball program is doing just that.
After having lost in the play-in round of the Class 2A postseason last year, the Eagles find themselves one step further this season as they swept Hollandale-Simmons 19-2 and 14-3.
“This is the next step for our program,” Eupora coach Brad Mitchell said. “Last year we go into the play-in round, win first game, then lost a doubleheader so we made the next step.”
The coach is not satisfied with just moving one step forward. Instead, he says it is “time to build” on where the Eagles are.
