Dan Mullen has raised the bar at Mississippi State since taking over the football program in 2008.
In his five years as the head coach, the Bulldogs have had four winning seasons and four-straight bowl appearances, winning three of those.
There has always been a good bit of hype around Mullen and his team for each of his seasons, but it might go to new heights this fall.
Mullen himself is expecting success this season after the spring camp the Bulldogs just wrapped up.
"I thought we had a great spring as a team," the former Florida offensive coordinator said during Wednesday's Southeastern Conference spring teleconference. "I'm happy with the direction our program is headed in right now.
"We need to keep moving forward and hopefully build on the success we've had over the last several years."
