Eupora clinches series with win

May 2, 2014

EUPORA – The Eupora Eagles entered game two of the Class 2A second round playoffs up one game on Strayhorn.
After Friday night‘s 3-2 victory, the Eagles had clinched the series and headed towards a series with Baldwyn.
“We did what we needed to do,” Eupora coach Brad Mitchell said. “We played great defensively. I don’t think we had an error all series and this time of year that is what you have to have. We pitched it great, played defense, got timely hits and that is what you have to do.”
