Starkville Christian enjoys season, looks to future

May 5, 2014

The Starkville Christian Lady Cougars faced one final challenge before seeing the end of the slow pitch softball season.
Central Academy hosted a tournament on Saturday and it gave the Lady Cougars a chance to get a little more experience.
Starkville Christian lost a 10-4 decision to Calvary in the first game, but bounced back to take a 6-2 victory over Lamar. The Lady Cougars lost the third game again to Calvary 4-1.
"We had a great time and had a couple of tents set up," SCS softball coach Cynthia Jefferson said of participating in the tournament. "There was really good fellowship."
