The Mississippi State Bulldogs had come accustomed to playing the first round of the tennis postseason at home.
MSU won't be at the friendly confines of the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre this year.
Instead, the Bulldogs travel to Austin, Texas, on Friday to take part in a NCAA regional.
No. 17 MSU (18-10) will play No. 62 Louisiana-Lafayette (20-4) in the first round at Penick-Allison Tennis Center at 10 a.m. Friday morning.
"We'll be ready," State head coach Per Nilsson said. "It's an advantage to play at home. It was nice to (host) the last two years, but the first match will be a neutral one and that's the one we've got to get through.
"If we get through it, the guys are just going to be so excited."
