Ross making mark with Jackets

May 8, 2014

Ross

What began as training for soccer season has blossomed into quite the sport for Starkville High’s Alex Ross.
“Originally, I got into track to get in shape for soccer,” Ross said. “(It) turns out I was good at it so I stuck with it.”
When he started running for Starkville, it was back in 7th grade and he was not just a member of the track and field team. He signed up to run cross country as well.
Now a senior, Ross has taken what he has learned in both areas and applied it to prepare him for his final run as a Yellowjacket.
