MSU manager Mitchem was once at Tennessee

Mississippi State manager Hunter Mitchem is seeing some familiar faces when he looks into the other dugout this weekend.
That's because the Bulldogs are playing his former team in the Tennessee Volunteers.
Mitchem joined the Vols in 2011 after his high school career at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
His time at Tennessee was long enough to understand something about the program.
"There were great fans for sure even though they've been down and struggling the past few years," Mitchem said. "They don't have the fans support that they do for football and basketball, but I know once they start winning they are going to come out.
