Inconsistencies of ‘Christian’ conservativism

A domino has fallen in the South’s “moral lockdown,” and it fell with a thud heard round the country.

A Pulaski County circuit judge in Arkansas tossed out a ban on gay marriage that has, for now, allowed gay couples in the state to wed. Arkansas, my home state and “The Natural State” no less, enacted a constitutional ban on gay marriage in 2004 after about 70 percent of those who cast ballots favored it.
