Mid-Week Market already growing customer base

May 15, 2014

The Greater Starkville Development Partnership rolled out its new Mid-Week Market last week. The event’s second installment was Tuesday, and although the number of vendors is currently low, the event’s organizers say it has been successful.

GSDP holds the Mid-Week Market every Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. on the corner of Jackson and Lampkin streets. This week’s Mid-Week Market featured five local vendors, but according to GSDP Starkville Community Market Manager Jennifer Prather, the event attracted double the number of customers compared to the previous week.
