FRENCH CAMP – At the end of the year, French Camp found itself among the last baseball teams standing.
However the Panthers were not able to get past Cathedral in the postseason and while the Panthers may not have won it all this year, ask their baseball coach what he thinks and he will say it was still a “great season.”
“We really felt like when it got down to the last 16 in the state, we really felt like we were as good as any of those teams,” French Camp coach Nathan Wright said. “We couldn’t get those key plays when we needed them. Still we had a great year. Our guys improved tremendously. Our seniors finished well. I saw a lot of maturity and growth.”
