Local police report quiet Memorial Day

May 28, 2014

The first holiday weekend of the summer season is in the books and authorities are thanking locals for making it a relatively quiet one.

The most significant reported incident in Oktibbeha County was a one-vehicle accident where a car flipped and caught fire on Artesia Road. County Fire Service Coordinator Kirk Rosenhan said the victim went to OCH Regional Medical center for evaluation, and no fatalities were reported in the accident.
