Sykes plans to take basketball camp seriously

June 1, 2014

Sykes

April Sykes won't be going through the motions when it comes to teaching the game of basketball to Starkville's youth.
The time of the camp each day will be from 8 a.m.-11 a.m.
The former East Oktibbeha High School and Rutgers player will host the LBGS Basketball Day Camp on June 9-12 inside the Travis Outlaw Center at the Starkville Sportsplex.
The responsibility Sykes feels about giving back to the community is too great to just hold a camp and not put 100 percent of her time into it.
