Lindgren

Mississippi State junior left hander Jacob Lindgren was taken 55th overall by the New York Yankees in Thursday's First-Year Player Draft.
The Bay St. Louis native was moved to the bullpen this season where he was a dominant force and recorded 100 strike outs in 55 1/3 innings pitched.
The junior is expected to take the money and not return to Starkville for his senior season.
