Starkville High School boys basketball coach Greg Carter says that Mississippi Delta Community College is not only getting a good player in Richard Evans, but an outstanding leader.
Evans signed with Mississippi Delta on Wednesday.
Being that Evans was a point guard for the Yellowjackets, Carter counted on him to be able to run things on the court.
"He had more responsibility than anybody else," Carter said. "It was more than just him playing well, he had to make sure everyone else was involved. He did a good job of it."
