The Swing Elite dug themselves a hole by spotting the Jackson Bucks a 5-0 lead in the first inning of Friday night's elimination game at the United States Sports Specialty Association 11 State Tournament.
It wasn't the way that Swing Elite wanted to start the outing, but they sure finished strong by scoring five runs of their own in the fourth inning to take an 11-6 victory at the Starkville Sportsplex.
The Swing Elite advanced to a second round game today at 3:30 p.m. against the winner of Friday's late action between the Longhorns and Oxford Rebels.
