MBI looks into death in Clarkson

The Mississippi Department of Investigation has taken over a reported weekend shooting that led to one Webster County man’s death at OCH Regional Medical Center.

Webster County Sheriff Tim Mitchell said the alleged incident happened between 7 and 8 p.m. Saturday. He said investigators believe 29-year-old Aubrey Myers got into an altercation with his father that ended with his father shooting him. The incident happened in a home on Clarkson Road in the Clarkson community in east Webster County.
