Starkville firefighters give test run to new diving equipment

Starkville Fire Department firefighters took to the water Tuesday during the department’s first training day to get used to newly-acquired diving gear.

The department received nine new sets of diving gear worth $19,400 in early June through a donation from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.
