Cadence: Branch sale in long-term business plan

Cadence Bank in Starkville is not planning to downsize, at least not according to Cadence Mississippi President Jerry Toney.

Toney confirmed on Wednesday that Cadence is interested in negotiating with the city of Starkville on possibly selling its main bank branch downtown so the city can convert it to police department headquarters. He added, though, being willing to sell and “having to sell” were two different things.
