A haircut hasn’t been the only change for Mississippi State’s Fred Thomas this offseason.
The junior guard has been working hard this spring and summer to get ready for the upcoming season that will not begin until November.
Thomas, along with other juniors Craig Sword and former Starkville High School standout Gavin Ware, have a whole new outlook in their third season with the Bulldogs.
“I say what has changed for us is our work ethic,” Thomas said. “I think we are working harder than we have worked before. We want it more now and we know what to expect when we get on the floor. Now that we are juniors, there should be no more excuses.”
