Starkville Police Department is seeking community aid in identifying and apprehending two suspects in a reported shoplifting incident Tuesday at Starkville’s Wal-Mart.

Between 6:52 p.m. and 7:36 p.m., Wal-Mart’s surveillance cameras caught two African-American males allegedly shoplifting goods, carrying Haier air conditioning units, televisions, and other small items out of the store in shopping carts. The first suspect wore a purple shirt, the second wore a bright yellow-green shirt, and both left the Wal-Mart parking lot in a red Ford F-150 double cab pickup truck at about 7:36 p.m.

SPD released photos of the suspects and their vehicle Thursday. Officials ask anyone with information on this case to contact them at 662-323-4131 or call Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
